About
Digital Archive Studio

Who are we and why this exists

Preserving family stories, not just files.

Digital Archive Studio exists to help families protect what can’t be replaced. Photographs, albums and personal archives hold stories that don’t live anywhere else, and too often they fade, get lost, or sit untouched boxes for decades.

We created this service for people who care about their history. Not just digitising images, but treating each collection with patience, respect and attention to detail. Every archive is handled as if it were our own.

This is about safeguarding memories, thoughtfully and properly, so they can be shared, remembered and passed on to the generations that come next.

How we work and what makes us trustworthy

A careful, considered approach

Every collection is different. That’s why we don’t rush, or automate care away. Photographs can be preserved in many ways - from albums and archival storage to carefully organised digital archives, or a combination of both.

Our process is simple, transparent and human:

  • Items are handled carefully, one collection at a time

  • High-resolution scanning with gentle colour correction where needed

  • Clear organisation and sensible file naming, so nothing is lost or confusing

  • Guidance on how to store and access your archive long-term

We take time to understand what you have before recommending anything. No assumptions. No pressure. Just calm, practical advice based on what’s right for your archive.

What to do next

Ready to begin?

If you’re thinking about digitising your archive, the best place to start is by telling us what archives you have and what matters to you, and we’ll advise on the best approach and cost before you decide how to proceed.

This starts with a short form and, if helpful, a brief follow-up by call, email or in person.
